Venten is a store slash concept store. Here they sell second hand name brand and designer wear, combined with (vintage) furniture, living accessories, coffees, and gift items. The collection should be regarded as high end, partly due to top brands such as Isabel Marant, Alexander McQueen, Kenzo, and Tommy Hilfiger – and it is updated daily. As a private customer you can also bring your clothes here (you’ll receive almost half of the sale price). There are also frequent events, such as expositions or nights where one can be pampered (think barber, nail stylist, masseuse, and even music).
Venten came from the idea to refresh the image of second hand clothing, by building a remarkable collection and combining it with new items and interior decorating products. Owner Jesse truly wanted to contribute to the Amsterdam shopping scene. With this concept, she creates continuous change, a diverse and surprising collection, and excellent service. And we haven’t even mentioned the fact that everything – truly everything – in this store is for sale! So, even the store itself frequently updates its interior. The clothes are presented with care and not just stored willy-nilly. For a reasonable price, ladies, gentlemen, and kids can find quality clothing here.
Whoever still thinks that used clothes are stale, will change their minds upon entry. This is Vintage 2.0, hanging on unique copper racks! The store is fresh and neat, not stuffed to the gills; it’s lightly colored and roomy. Besides all this, the Ceintuurbaan is becoming a more beautiful and cozy shopping street every year.
