In one of the oldest retail buildings of Haarlem, the unique CD & DVD store Bruno Klassiek has found its home. In this 17th century house, of which Vincent van der Vinne, Frans Hals’ pupil, was a resident, you’ll find the largest collection of classical music in the area.
Besides the standard collection with attractive specials, you may also come here for rare and hard to find editions. Furthermore you’ll find used cd’s here that are more than worth the (re)discovery.
In a relaxed atmosphere, you may count on expert advice and personal attention from owner Bruno Truyens and his staff. They love to show you around in the enormous world of classical music. The enthusiastic manner in which they share their expert knowledge with you, is very inspiring. Your musical wishes form the ultimate challenge. To find that special edition for you which isn’t easily found. And if it isn’t in stock – they will do everything they can to order it for you.
Because of its great versatility Bruno Klassiek is well known amongst connaisseurs and it is one of the key Music stores in the Netherlands.
The love for the profession is also apparent in fun extras. Professional, world class musicians – such as Yundi Li, Pieter Wispelwey and Maxim Vengerov – were willing to perform unique, small scale recitals for Bruno Klassiek. The world famous Borodin Quartet has even performed a unique concept on location, in the honor of their 60th anniversary and the 5th anniversary of Bruno Klassiek.
