Bullitt carries a very diverse collection. The store offers a combination of vintage, new, and homemade designs. You’ll find new clothes and accessories such as bags, handmade jewelry, shawls, and belts here. Bullitt is also specialized in vintage furniture, glass, ceramics, and lighting. Besides all this you can find rugs, pillows, statues, posters, and other living accessories (both new and vintage). Hifi equipment from the 60s, 70s and 80s has a special place in this store, and there’s also room for artists’ works (paintings, drawings, and photographs). In the home atelier, all vintage items are restored to optimal condition.
The atmosphere is relaxed, open, and accessible. The owners give all their attention to their customers, as they love personal contact with them, and are enthusiastic about the items they sell. The interior and styling are inspiring, and everything looks tempting. It’s a store were men and women can feel welcome and find what they’re looking for.
Bullitt is located in the increasingly fun Jan Pieter Heijestraat in Amsterdam. Everyone is welcome here. Customers appreciate the mix of remarkable, unique, yet affordable items and clothes. The store is constantly renovated as new items are purchased. The inspiration for the name comes from the Steve McQueen film of the same name from 1968, but the collection is definitely not limited to that period. A closet from the 50s turns out to be the perfect fir to a lamp from the 70s, a tight Art Deco vase and a hifi set from the 80s. Bullitt is more than worth a trip to Amsterdam West to anyone who loves being surprised and inspired.
